2024/2025 SKATING REGISTRATION OPENS JULY 8!

We're excited to announce that registration for the upcoming skating season will open on Monday, July 8 @ 9:00 a.m. Register early to take advantage of Early Bird pricing!
We're pleased to confirm the schedules for our PreCan, CanSkate, PreSTAR, STARSkate and Synchro programs:
- PreCan (ages 3 & 4): TUES and/or THURS, 6:30-7:00 pm @ the *NEW* Martensville Recreation Centre
- CanSkate (Learn-to-skate): TUES and/or THURS, 6:15-7:00 pm @ the *NEW* Martensville Recreation Centre
- PreSTAR: TUES & THURS, 5:15-6:15 pm @ the *NEW* Martensville Recreation Centre
- STARSkate:
- TUES & THURS, 4:00-6:15 pm @ the *NEW* Martensville Recreation Centre
- FRI, 3:45-5:00 pm @ the Martensville Sports Centre (old rink)
- STAR 4 Synchro
- FRI, 5:00-5:45 pm @ the Martensville Sports Centre (old rink)
- Adult III Snchro
- FRI, 5:45-6:45 pm @ the Martensville Sports Centre (old rink)
- Adult II Snchro
- FRI, 6:30-7:30 pm @ the Martensville Sports Centre (old rink)
Our season includes 22 weeks of skating from October-March and concludes with an annual ice show on March 23, 2025.
Early Bird Pricing
SAVE $50 off your registration when you register on or before Wednesday, July 31! Discount applies to PreCan, CanSkate, STARSkate, STAR Synchro and Adult Synchro programs. Discount will be applied at checkout.
All registrations submitted on August 1st or later will be subject to the regular registration fee. No exceptions.
Package Pricing
Save even more on your registration when your skater registers for the following programs:
- PreCan & CanSkate Package Pricing: Skaters who register for two sessions per week (Tuesday AND Thursday) will receive special package pricing.
- STAR Synchro Package Pricing: STARSkaters who register for STAR 2 or higher AND STAR 4 Synchro will recieve 50% off their synchro fee.
Please ensure you have BOTH programs added to your shopping cart to activate the discount.

We're excited to announce that registration for the upcoming skating season will be opening soon! However, we've encountered a slight delay as we finalize some of our ice times. We're actively working with the City to secure ice times that best meet our skaters' needs.
To give you a head start on planning your winter activities, we're pleased to confirm the schedule for PreCan, CanSkate, and PreSTAR sessions, all taking place on the NEW ICE SURFACE at the Martensville Recreation Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
- PreSTAR: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30-6:15pm
- CanSkate: Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 6:15-7:00pm
- PreCan (ages 3 & 4): Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 6:30-7:00pm
Please note that our STARSkate and Synchro programs are still being finalized.

SKATE MARTENSVILLE DONATES $5000 TOWARDS NEW MARTENSVILLE COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTRE

On Sunday, March 24, Skate Martensville hosted its highly anticipated annual ice show, where approximately 90 skaters of all ages took to the ice to transport spectators on a journey through the pages of their favourite farytales.
As part of the skating club’s annual awards and presentations, Skate Martensville presented the Martensville Community Recreation Project (MCRP) with a donation of $5000 for the Lace ‘Em Up capital campaign that is raising funds for the new Community Recreation Centre.

SKATE MARTENSVILLE PRESENTS: ICE UPON A TIME

Skate Martensville is proud to announce Ice Upon a Time as this season's ice show theme! Join us on March 24th for an entertaining afternoon of skating and come celebrate the dedication and hard work of all the skaters, coaches, and volunteers.

SMOKEHAUS FUNDRAISER CLOSING SOON!

This is a final reminder that our last fundraiser of the year is closing in a few days, on Thursday, January 25th.
We ask that families submit all orders on one form. There are two options to return these forms:
- Hand in the form and money at the CanSkate table Tuesdays or Thursdays from 5:30pm-6:15pm. If you wish to hand in the form and e transfer that is also acceptable, but please indicate that on the form as well.
- Email the order form by replying to this email, and e-transfer with the family's name that is on the form and the purpose for the $ to skatemville.treasurer@gmail.com. * Orders submitted via email will be confirmed once received. If you have submitted an order and not received confirmation, please send an email to skatemville.fundraising@gmail.com.
Order pickup will take place at the rink, the date and time will be shared once finalized. If you are unsure whether your family has completed the $250 previously, please send an email to skatemville.fundraising@gmail.com with the skater's name included.
NO SKATING JANUARY 16, 2024

Due to large cracks in the ice and hazardous skating conditions, the City of Martensville has cancelled all on-ice activities for the remainder of the day. Consequently, there will be NO SKATING LESSONS Tuesday, January 16.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

2023-2024 FUNDRAISER #2: SMOKEHAUS DELI & MEATS

Our final fundraiser for this skating season is hosted by Smokehaus Deli & Meats in Martensville. Our fundraiser will run from January 9th-25th, and we are aiming for pickup at the rink on February 13th. More details will be shared around pickup once finalized.
