COVID-19 Response

The health and safety of all participants in our club, including skaters, coaches, family, volunteers and the general public, is of the utmost importance to Skate Martensville. As a club we continue to follow guidelines provided by Skate Canada, Skate Saskatchewan and the Government of Saskatchewan.

We will practice the following current health and safety measures:

  • Skater health check-ins are no longer required.
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the facility.
  • Regular cleaning practices will remain in place.
  • Physical distancing can help prevent the spread of illness.
  • The public health order requiring mandatory indoor masking and self-isolation for anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 through a PCR or at-home rapid antigen test is no longer in effect as of 12:01 a.m. February 28.
  • Public Health still strongly recommends immediate self-isolation for anyone who tests positive for COVID-19.
  • Skate Martensville is mask friendly. Masking will not be mandatory, however, it is important that everyone is kind and respectful of individuals' choices.
  • If you are not feeling well, please do not attend. Stay home and self monitor for symptoms.

Please remember that this situation is fluid and the guidelines may change throughout the skating season. For a complete list of restrictions and information on the current public health orders, please visit saskatchewan.ca/COVID19.
